It measures about 73 meters long and 20 meters high, making it one of the largest monolithic statues in the world.

We went to Cairo yesterday to see the new museum, it's simply stunning! The organization was top-notch, the guide's support was excellent too. Everything explained in such detail, interesting and clear. The new museum is beyond praise! Definitely worth going despite the long drive! A sea of impressions! Small tip: bring small bills with you or be ready to fend off the locals. Some people ask for tips VERY insistently.
