Elphinstone Reef

Elphinstone Reef is an offshore coral reef in the southern Red Sea near Marsa Alam, Egypt, about 400 meters long, running north-south with sheer walls dropping past 100 meters. Reachable only by boat, it is a well-known dive site for oceanic whitetip and hammerhead shark sightings, with a natural rock arch near its southern plateau around 25 meters deep.

We went on an excursion to Tiran Island. Three stops. Three for swimming and two for diving. We dove both times. The feeling is beyond words. The instructors are wonderful, true professionals. Lunch was tasty. There was enough time for everything. We swam our fill, saw so much sea beauty. The organization is excellent, everything on time, no long waits. We went today.
