1 Day 1 - Marsa Alam to Luxor: An early pickup from your Marsa Alam hotel for the drive to Luxor. Your Egyptologist guide leads you through Karnak Temple and the Colossi of Memnon, with a local lunch of authentic Egyptian cuisine, before checking into your Luxor guesthouse for the night.
2 Day 2 - Luxor to Aswan: Visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings on Luxor's West Bank before the drive south to Aswan. On arrival, explore the High Dam and Philae Temple, then check into your Aswan guesthouse. Since you're already in Aswan, this is the point to add an optional excursion to Abu Simbel if you'd like - just ask your guide.
3 Day 3 - Aswan Back to Marsa Alam: A final look at Aswan's Nile-side scenery before the drive back to Marsa Alam. The return runs back through Luxor and Safaga rather than a shortcut through the desert - the shorter mountain track between Aswan and Marsa Alam passes through an active mining area and isn't used for tourist transport - so it's a long full day on the road, in the same private car the whole way.
