Places You'll Visit

Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings, on the Nile's west bank opposite Luxor, served as the main royal burial ground for pharaohs of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties, roughly 1539 to 1075 BC. More than 60 tombs have been identified, including that of Tutankhamun, and the site has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed 'Ancient Thebes' since 1979.

Valley of the Queens

The Valley of the Queens, near Luxor on the Nile's west bank, contains around 75 tombs of queens, princes, and princesses from Egypt's 19th and 20th dynasties. Its most famous tomb, QV66, belongs to Nefertari, chief wife of Ramesses II, discovered in 1904 by Italian archaeologist Ernesto Schiaparelli and celebrated for its vividly preserved painted wall scenes.

Temple of Hatshepsut

The mortuary temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, on the Nile's west bank near Luxor, was built around 1479-1458 BC by her chief architect Senenmut. Known as Djeser-Djeseru, it rises in three colonnaded terraces cut into the cliffs, a design distinct from other Egyptian temples, and was dedicated to the sun god Amun-Ra alongside Hatshepsut's own funerary cult.

Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon are two 18-metre-tall quartzite statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, erected around 1350 BC to guard the entrance of his now-ruined mortuary temple on Luxor's west bank. Carved from stone quarried near modern Cairo and hauled some 675 km to Thebes, they were famously said by ancient Greek visitors to sing at dawn.

The best service!!! We took the Luxor + Valley of the Queens excursion, unforgettable impressions 🤩🤩🤩 we saw an ancient city with so much to look at, ancient frescoes, statues, they walked us through ancient tombs, thrilling 🔥🔥🔥 for a token fee of $10 there was a crossing of the Nile too, we saw how local people live, they treated us to delicious fruit and even gave us some to take along, overall the impressions were amazing! Our guide turned out to be a really lovely woman who even treated us to ice cream at the end of the excursion, incredibly sweet 🥰 Top-level service, they always reply fast, and help you pick the right activity just for you! Thank you so much ❤🫶🏼

We took a private excursion on the 5-site program (Karnak Temple, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Temple of Hathor at Dendera). Our driver arrived on time. We drove to Luxor as a threesome, then our guide Muhammad joined us. Enormous thanks to him, he organized everything we needed, answered every question, gave us tips everywhere and dealt with the vendors when needed. Very attentive, very tactful. Our driver got us there and back fast, and was quick to respond to our requests. Overall it was pure pleasure. And the program itself is fantastic, I recommend it 🔥🔥🔥
