The Dendera Temple complex in Qena, Egypt, is centered on the Temple of Hathor, begun under Ptolemy II in the 3rd century BCE and completed under Roman rule, making it one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Its ceiling once bore the Dendera zodiac, a circular star map now displayed in the Louvre, with a plaster replica at the site.
The Temple of Seti I at Abydos is a New Kingdom sandstone and limestone temple built in the 13th century BC, renowned for its finely carved reliefs. A wall within it bears the Abydos King List, a chronological sequence of 76 pharaohs' cartouches ending with Seti I, an important though selective source for reconstructing ancient Egyptian dynastic history.

We're thrilled!!! So beautiful, the guys are all great, speak Russian, help out, explain everything. We swam to the reefs, looked at the corals and the fish. We went to St. Anthony's and St. Paul's monasteries. It turned out to be a wonderful trip. Friendly guides. A really interesting place. Doesn't seem to get visited by tourists that often. And that's a shame, it deserves more.
