Tour Itinerary & Map

1 Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo & Nile Dinner Cruise: Land at Cairo International Airport and transfer to your boutique guesthouse. In the evening, a Nile dinner cruise with live music and a Tanoura show introduces you to Cairo lit up after dark.
2 Day 2 - Giza, Saqqara & Memphis, Overnight Train to Aswan: A full day with your Egyptologist guide: the Great Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara's Step Pyramid of Djoser, and the ruins of Memphis. In the evening, board a first-class sleeper train south to Aswan.
3 Day 3 - Arrive Aswan & Board Your Nile Cruise: Arrive in Aswan and explore its highlights - the High Dam, the unfinished obelisk and Philae Temple - before embarking your Nile cruise ship for the night.
4 Day 4 - Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples: An early excursion to the colossal rock temples of Abu Simbel. Back aboard, the cruise ship sails on to Kom Ombo's double temple and Edfu's Temple of Horus, reached by horse-drawn carriage from the dock.
5 Day 5 - Luxor East Bank: The cruise arrives in Luxor; disembark for the day to explore Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East Bank, returning to your cabin in the evening.
6 Day 6 - Luxor West Bank & Overnight Train to Cairo: Cross to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Hatshepsut. In the evening, disembark and board the overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.
7 Day 7 - Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo: Arrive back in Cairo and spend the day at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, followed by Old Cairo's Coptic churches and the Citadel.
8 Day 8 - Departure: After breakfast, your private transfer takes you to Cairo International Airport for your onward flight home.
